Raw vegan

80-10-10

The 80/10/10 Diet – Balancing Your Health, Your Weight, and Your Life One Luscious Bite at a Time by Douglas N. Graham

This book deals with the fundamentals of why to eat low fat raw vegan. I totally agree with it and most of my meals are raw. When I do eat cooked food it’s low fat vegan. I know several people who started a raw vegan diet but didn’t read this book. All of them failed in maintaining the diet due to lack of knowledge. Most important factor is your calorie intake . Fruits are far less calorie dense than grains and fatty foods. That means that you have to eat plenty (more than thirty banana’s a day for an active male). Failing to eat enough results in weight loss, lack of energy, craving fatty foods, menstruation problems (if a woman body fat drop below 11%). Eating raw vegan is a big change in your diet so get informed.
